Tinnitus is defined as a sound (usually a ringing, buzzing, clicking, hissing, or humming sound) in either one ear or both ears that isn’t caused by an external source. It is a symptom and not a disease in itself though the direct cause is often unknown. It could be caused by hearing loss, injuries in the inner ear, or circulatory or nerve issues.
For some people, tinnitus is a minor annoyance, while for others it is a distraction that interferes with their daily lives. Some people try to manage their tinnitus by drowning out the sound or using an implant but we believe in natural remedies that treat the underlying causes of tinnitus. The bottom line is that there are supplements out there that will do exactly what they say they will. Many people who experience tinnitus have experienced incredible results. Our research has shown that, given the correct dosage and potency of specific key ingredients, you can greatly improve your condition.
There are several key ingredients that we identified as belonging in all tinnitus supplements. These include Citrus Bioflavonoids, Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, Magnesium, and Ginkgo Biloba among other herbs. These ingredients are beneficial for improving blood flow through the ear, protecting against damage from free radicals, protecting cell and nerve health, and helping with hearing loss.
Key points to consider when choosing a tinnitus relief supplement
When choosing a tinnitus relief supplement, you should be as cautious as we are. Many manufacturers of tinnitus supplements make grand promises of improving hearing, only for you to find out later that there is no real change and you are left with an empty bottle, empty purse, and empty promises. Don’t be dismayed – there are some that really do work – you just need to find a legitimate product.
As soon as a new product hits the market, dozens of manufacturers appear to try jumping on board. As a result, consumers need to be on the lookout for many products that are watered down and quite ineffective, promising results that are totally unrealistic and not deliverable.
When choosing a tinnitus supplement, you should look for a company with a strong reputation that sells a wide range of nutritional natural dietary health supplements. An effective supplement will be formulated using high-quality ingredients such as Lemon-derived Citrus Bioflavonoids, B Vitamins, Magnesium, Ginkgo Biloba, as well as other herbs like green tea or juniper, combined with a bioavailability enhancer to help deliver quicker and more effective results. In addition to quality ingredients, the product should also undergo quality testing and be manufactured in a GMP and FDA certified laboratory.
If you come across a company selling tinnitus supplements using strong marketing terms or slogans, or if they are endorsed by famous celebrities, you should stay clear. If the company and product formula don’t speak for themselves, then nothing else should.
Should you decide that a tinnitus supplement is for you, and you would like to try a top-quality product, check out our reviews for a number of tinnitus relief supplements that are currently available on the market. Ring Free
This product claims to be the last product you’ll try to get rid of your tinnitus. It promises results as quickly as 1 week and has a 30-day customer satisfaction guarantee. It’s made in the USA in an FDA inspected lab and is GMP certified. All in all, it seems to be a quality product that narrowly missed our top spot.
Ring Free has a clear label that lists all the ingredients and their dosage amounts. It has a few of the active ingredients on our list and a few more that weren’t. The inactive ingredients include bovine gelatin, which means that this product is not vegetarian or vegan-friendly.
These capsules are taken 1 to 2 times a day with food in dosages of 1 pill. It appears that Ring Free is only sold by companies selling supplements and that the manufacturer of the same name does not have a website for their products. This means that the return policy is subject to the seller. However, on Amazon, the product claims to have a risk-free trial. While researching Ring Free on Amazon, we also checked out what people were saying about the product. There were many positive reviews on this product but also a fair amount of negative reviews that made us raise an eyebrow. Read the full review for our full assessment of this product.

GIV Health Tinnitus Guard
Promoted as a product to relieve tinnitus and improve hearing, Tinnitus Guard is our next product for review. At first glance, this appears to be a good tinnitus relief supplement. It has nice packaging and makes many claims that you want your tinnitus supplement to make. We tried to look beyond the surface to really understand this product but found doing so to be uncommonly difficult. The more we looked, the less we came to believe that Tinnitus Guard is as good as it pretends to be.
Some of the things we liked about this product are that it is said to be 100% natural and manufactured in the USA. It has some of the ingredients that we found to be beneficial for reducing tinnitus, though the amounts and potencies are not available. The use of proprietary blend created a lack of transparency which was only the first strike in our books when it comes to this product.
There were a few other negatives we found while reviewing this product. In addition to a lack of transparency, one of the ingredients included in this tinnitus relief supplement can actually cause tinnitus. Would you really want to manage your tinnitus with a product that might cause tinnitus? This is strike two. Lastly, this product does not come with a customer satisfaction guarantee and says nothing of returns and refunds. Strike three! Read our full review to discover how we were able to discern that this product is using misleading marketing, and how you can avoid falling for these schemes.
